REVIT Has Arrived!
2/19/2007

On February 13-14, a team made up of a mechanical engineering intern, a plumbing and fire protection designer, and a technician from Thompson Engineers, Inc. received two long days of intensive initial training in Autodesk? Revit Building 9.1®.

TEI is excited to be on the cutting edge of the Mid-South consulting engineering community by becoming the first M/P/FP consulting firm in the region to become operational with the Revit® building information management software. The opportunities are boundless.

This new approach to building design documentation offers a far superior service to the client. The opportunities go far beyond drafting and project coordination. There are opportunities to enhance the client’s marketing efforts and his or her ability to “see” the finished project before the first dollar is spent on construction.

TEI is already engaged in talks with three of the largest and busiest local architectural firms to begin Revit projects. Contact Jeff Gatlin, PE, at jeff@thompsonengineers.com or 901-452-2500 if you have a project that requires this new service.
